Leo

Leo is our spunky five year old black lab dalmatian. He was my Christmas gift to myself early in December of 2006. I held his brothers and sisters before him with no intention of buying a dog. Once I picked him up and he licked my nose I couldn’t put him back down. I wanted him then and there. Thankfully not only is he lovable, but he is also pretty smart and knows a few tricks. How many dogs do you know that can give high fives? We couldn’t ask for a better dog.

Stryker

Prince Stryker is your high class domestic short hair cat. He, along with his sister Kitana, come from the same litter and were rescued by my Husband outside of his work. He was sick and skeletal looking when Jeremy brought him home. I was scared he wouldn’t make it. However after a week of warmth, love, and canned cat food he perked right up and began to show his true princely colors. His name comes from Mortal Kombat and he has the attitude to go along with it. He spends most of his mornings tackling your sleeping feet until you wake up, then he’ll jump down and meow and cry until you’re out of bed.

Kitana

As I mentioned with Stryker, Princess Kitana was a rescued stray. When Jeremy first brought her home I was not sure about keeping her. Her attitude was insane. Hissing, biting, clawing, and running around. I knew it was just from being a wild stray but I wasn’t sure if I could tame her up a bit. After a week or so she calmed down to where if you came near her she’d just hiss but let you pet her. Week later she’s not a domestic lazy bitch who LOVES to cuddle. She follows us up to bed and like Stryker will play around with you until you get out of bed then cry like a glutton for canned food. We love our little tabby brat who was also named from Mortal Kombat.

The Others

While these three spunky cats no longer live with us and never will I still think of them as ours. Dante and Prozzak have lived with my Father for many years. Since they are both indoor/outdoor cats I would worry that they would try to cross the highway and roads just to get back to the place they know as home. Lydia lives with my Mother in Law as she was Jeremy’s when I met him. She won’t part with her.

Dante

Dante is our black and white, six year old panther cat with a king attitude. He will whine until you give into his demands and loves to knead his claws into you. He loves to be outside and drop mouse heads by the front door. Once I let a stray dog into the house so it could eat and Dante chased him around the house hissing. Apparently he’s territorial. Either way Dante is a wonderful lazy cat who likes to rub his fangs on your face.

Dante

Lydia

Lydia is our six year old black and white kitty that lives the furthest away. She currently lives with her Grandma in Texas as we couldn’t bring her back with us, but I will always consider her ours. She has the same attitude as Prozzak and is Dante’s doppelganger. She’s prissy and keeps to herself, while being sweet if she decides to love on you. Apparently her favorite hobby is hanging from the curtains. The awesomeness with little Queen Lydia is that Jeremy got her two weeks after I got Dante, not knowing that I had him. So it was pretty awesome that we both got the same looking cat while living 1000 miles apart. She loves to lay in the bathroom sink and has this cute little high pitched ‘mew’ that will make you melt.

Prozzak

Prozzak is our five year old tortuous shell baby. She is as timid as Lydia. Scats at any sign of movement toward her, and will only let you pet her when she wants. She has a story though. I was driving to work and saw a kitten dart across the highway. Pulling over I chased her across the highway so she wouldn’t get hit and finally caught her. When I got her into my car she darted back and forth and all around, she was wild. I was working at Subway at the time, and took her inside with me once I arrived. One of my co-workers offered to put her in her truck until we were off shift. She left the windows cracked, and Prozzak escaped. The next day someone called me from across the street and told me that they had a cat matching the one I brought in the day before. It was little Prozzak. People always give me strange looks at her name, but because she was so off the wall I had to name her “Prozzak” a variation of prozac and the name of an awesome band. Now days she spends her time sleeping and meowing away. Though she is still pretty shy, but not shy enough to drool on you.

Hello! My name is Dez and I just happen to be your not so average twenty-three year old gamer geek girl. I'm married to an equally geeky husband, Jeremy. After many years of fighting infertility we have unlocked the pregnancy achievement and are expecting our first.

In the meantime we already obtained the furkid achievement as we love, play with, cuddle, and sometimes scold an insane dog named Leo as well as our lovely kittens Stryker and Kitana.

As for myself I'm a lover of video games, Hello Kitty, not blowing up my kitchen in an attempt to be a chef, and pretending to be a photographer. Learn more about me!
